Who We Are

The Administrative Services Center (ASC) is made up of 127 employees and falls under the Administration and Finance (A&F) division of Georgia Institute of Technology. The ASC is one of many outcomes of Administrative Excellence (AdminX) – a strategic initiative that is delivering operational excellence and providing an exceptional quality of service and customer satisfaction. The ASC partners with local and central units to provide efficient and consistent support for administrative operations across the Institute.

What is the Administrative Services Center?

The Administrative Services Center (ASC) is the service center at Georgia Tech comprised of dedicated professionals and a deliverable of the AdminX initiative. The ASC partners with local and central units to provide efficient and consistent support of administrative operations across the Institute.

What services does the ASC provide?

The ASC provides the campus with services related to the overall hiring experience which includes the hiring through the Direct Hire eRequest Form, which digitizes the process of capturing and routing the information needed to process direct hire requests in a more accurate, complete and efficient manner.

In addition to the hiring activities, the ASC engages with employees at the walk-up center to complete the final stages of the onboarding process which includes the I-9 forms and generating Buzzcards, responds to customer inquires by phone and help tickets. The team also process all the Manager Self-Service (MSS) transactions submitted via OneUSG Connect ranging from name changes to retirements and manages the employee records.

GTRI’s recruiting team is also integrated into the ASC in alignment with Tech’s overarching people-focused strategy to provide consistent HR services that support growth across all areas of the Institute — including GTRI.

The ASC also provides the Audio Visual (AV) and Technology Support Services (previously ESD) for the Institute offering a one-stop shop for both HR and Technology related inquiries.
